Hi, I’m Naomi Poppler. I’ve been a reptile keeper since 2006.

Poppler Demand is a small hobby breeder specializing in healthy captive-bred isopods, springtails, feeder insects, and mourning geckos. My focus is:

• Share Knowledge – Provide specialist care tips to support responsible pet stewardship
• Spread Awareness – Attend local events to raise interest in reptiles, amphibians, and weird critters

Poppler Demand Isopods began after developing a passion for bioactive terrariums in 2023. I started with a superstar combo of powder isopods and temperate springtails. I was hooked from the start, fascinated with these tiny creatures and their incredible ability to decimate waste, mold, fungi, and decaying organic matter.

Over the years I’ve slowly gathered a collection of isopods, especially captivated by the bold Ember Bee and the shy Rubber Ducky. Each species brings new learning opportunities and challenges, and it’s such a rewarding experience when you learn what makes every single one thrive.
