Description
The Troglodillo sp. “Green Spot” isopod is admired for its striking appearance, featuring deep charcoal to black coloration highlighted by vibrant green markings that seem to glow against the darker exoskeleton. This unusual pattern makes them one of the more visually distinctive species in the hobby.
Green Spots spend much of their time exploring beneath cork bark, leaf litter, and moss, though established colonies are often visible grazing throughout the enclosure. Like other members of the genus, they readily conglobate, rolling into a tight ball when they feel threatened.
They appreciate a stable enclosure with high humidity, plenty of hiding places, and a healthy supply of leaf litter and calcium to support healthy growth.
