Description

If you enjoy the treasure hunt of isopod keeping, Pineapple isopods will fit right in. They’re naturally shy, nocturnal, and reclusive, spending most of their time tucked beneath bark or leaf litter. When threatened, they roll into a tight ball which just adds to their armadillo-like charm.

These micro critters prefer stability and will thrive in an environment that supports their burrowing and humidity needs. Keep humidity consistent, not overly wet but never dry. Use rich, light, deep substrate. Provide plenty of leaf litter, bark, and hides. Maintain consistent, gentle ventilation.
