Description

The Cubaris murina “Glacier” isopod (sometimes called “Whiteout”) is admired for its cool, muted, ghostly white coloration. Shades of pale gray, silver, and off-white blend together to create a clean, elegant look unlike many warmer-toned Cubaris species.

Glaciers are hilarious to observe. They’re bold and active, yet startle easily. Their main defense mechanism seems to be running wildly when disturbed, though they can indeed conglobate (roll into a ball). They’re social, food-motivated creatures, with digestive tracts that reflect the color of whatever snacks they’ve recently devoured.
