Description
Armadillidium vulgare, or “Punta Cana” isopods are colorful, active, and nearly bulletproof. One of the best species for beginners to the hobby. They throw a diverse range of coloration, from deep grays and browns to tans and oranges, with bands or speckling or striping throughout.
A. vulgare “Punta Cana” are steady breeders tolerant of a wide range of conditions. They’re rather forgiving of mistakes, making them ideal for learning the ropes of isopod keeping.
