Description
The Cubaris sp. “Blue Pigeon” isopod is prized for its cool blue-gray coloration that resembles weathered stone or slate. While not overly flashy, their smooth texture and calm demeanor give them a refined, almost prehistoric look that stands out in naturalistic enclosures.
Unlike many Cubaris species, Blue Pigeons are quite bold and spend much of their time exploring their enclosure. They thrive in stable, humid conditions and prefer minimal disturbance, making them better suited for intermediate keepers. While they may not be constantly visible, patient keepers will be rewarded with fascinating nighttime activity and stable colony growth.
